As the 2010-11 Paragon Optimist Club President, I would like to tell you a little about our club.  We are 21 members strong with diverse interests and activities.  We take the Optimist Creed to heart and incorporate it into our daily lives.  Being moms, wives, sisters, and daughters, we sometimes find ourselves pulled in a hundred different directions.  This is where club life comes in.  We support and nurture our fellow Optimists through life's daily struggles and in so doing, make ourselves better and make the world around us a better place.  I firmly believe that the world can be changed one community at a time.  If everyone would look at their own little corner and improve one thing, big or small, just think of the impact on those around them.
